Positive: The villa was exactly what we needed on our last few days in Sri Lanka!m. The villa is run by a wonderful couple that has been in the hospital business for many years and it shows. It’s right in front of the beach which is pretty empty and clean. On the day we checked into our room the owner surprised us with a bday cake after our dinner which shows the level of kindness and hospitality they have towards their guests. The villa is clean, has good facilities, is in front of the beach, 24hr security, surfing classes, good breakfast, small boutique shop, a hammock and most importantly an excellent staff that were always helpful and kind. The location is a bit out from the busy city life but if you’re looking for an excellent beach (great for surfing) and some quiet time then this villa is a perfect choice. You can always take a 15min toktok to the closest city. The room layout is also really nice and practical with an open shower concept and comfortable bed. We loved our stay and will definitely come back again.

Negative: Honestly nothing to really say about the property as it was very well built and beautiful. The lunch and dinner options were a bit overpriced but there are lots of food options next to the villa on the beach. Overall nothing that we disliked.

Positive: Staying at Vanina Villas felt like stepping into a private paradise. The property is dreamy, featuring a quiet swimming pool and a stunning beach right at your doorstep. Our villa was incredibly comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was consistently excellent. A huge thank you to Myriam and Hervé for their warm hospitality and for making us feel like part of the family. We will definitely be back!

Positive: Myriam and Leo are prefect hosts, very open and welcoming. They were always ready to meet all of our needs. Bonus shoutout to masseur Rami, he was so good we had to use his services twice

Positive: Simply perfect. There was our last three days in Sri Lanka and it was more than expected. Beautiful hotel with amazing tropical garden one step from the ocean. Super clean, very stylish, better than in photos. Nice staff, good food and coctails and the nicest hosts. Dear Myriam and Jean thank you for everything, we really loved it!

Positive: We spent a week here after busy travels and it's a fantastic place to stay and relax. It's run by the really lovely and sociable couple, Myriam and Jean, who are the perfect hosts, immediately making us feel at home. It was lovely to get to know them too. The restaurant staff were exceptional, Kumara and Pati, who looked after us all and made our two boys feel special. The grounds are really well looked after and the rooms are just right, very comfortable and clean. We were next to the pool (lovely too) and found that we had it to ourselves most of the time. The location is very quiet and away from the busy-ness of some of the other beaches, that suited us perfectly, and everything is only a short tuk tuk away. Breakfast was great and we had lunch and dinner on many occasions and the food was always really good, especially the specials. We had surfing lessons with Jean and he was the perfect teacher. We all managed to stand up! A big thank you from all of us to Jean and Myriam. We'll see you again in the future!
